How to Share Internet from an Android Device via Hotspot

If your primary device is Android and you want to share its internet connection with another device, follow these steps. This method works for Android-to-Android, Android-to-iOS, and Android-to-PC connections.

📌 Android to Android Connection

Step 1: Install Every Proxy

- On your primary Android device (the one sharing the internet), download and install Every Proxy from the Play Store.

- Ensure your VPN is connected before proceeding.

- Enable your WiFi Hotspot on this device.

Step 2: Connect the Second Device

- On the secondary Android device (the one receiving internet), enable WiFi and connect to the hotspot of your primary device.

Step 3: Configure Every Proxy

- Open Every Proxy on your primary device.

- Toggle the "HTTP" option ON.

- Tap the icon on the right of "HTTP" to enable it.

- The app will display IP addresses (typically up to three), all using the same port (e.g.,8080).

- Choose the IP address that starts with "192.168...".

Step 4: Configure Proxy on the Second Device

- On the secondary device, go to Settings → Network & Internet → WiFi.

- Tap and hold your connected Hotspot network, then select Modify.

- Scroll down and select Manual under Proxy settings.

- Enter the selected IP address from the Every Proxy app (e.g., 192.168...) and the port (8080 or as displayed in the app).

- Save the settings.

Step 5: Verify Connection

- On the primary device, open Every Proxy and check for red and green activity bars.

- On the secondary device, test the connection by checking WhatsApp messages or visiting youtube.com.

Troubleshooting

- If the red-green bars do not appear in Every Proxy, review the steps to ensure correct configuration.

- Double-check the IP address and port settings on the secondary device.

By following these steps carefully, you can successfully share your Android internet connection via hotspot with another device.
